DONGGUAN NESTLE CO. LTD.
Dongguan
Nestle Co. Ltd. was established in 1988 with the investment
of Nestle Co. Ltd. (Switzerland). Through the past 15
years, the company has increases its investment three
times from the initial amount of USD 30.2 million to
USD 74.9 million, with the registered capital increasing
from USD 24.7 million to USD 57 million. At present,
the company occupies a total area of about 200,000 m2,
including a built area of 16,198 m2, with a total of
576 employees.

The
company manages a coffee factory and a soy sauce factory,
both living up to the international advanced standard
in production. The major products of the coffee factory
include Nestle instant coffee and coffee mate in 72
different packages. The soy sauce factory mainly produces
Meiji soy sauce, chicken powder, soup ingredients, and
frozen food in 120 different packages. While mainly
meeting the need of the mainland market, the products
are exported to the Hong Kong and Taiwan region, Japan,
Korea and South-east Asia, Australia, Europe and North
America.

Nestle
believes that its activities in a country or a city
can only be of long-term benefit to the Company if they
are at the same time beneficial for that country and
that city. The successful development of Nestle’s
NESCAFE factory in Dongguan is a clear illustration
of this. Success is based on mutual trust and respect.

Republic of China, the Authorities of Guangdong Province
as well as of Yunnan Province, and the City of Dongguan
for their support.
Our
thanks also go to the coffee farmers and to the entire

technical assistance which have helped make our NESCAFE
Dongguan factory a state-of -the-art coffee processing
factory in China and in the world.
